留学生办理签证及住宿信息登记须知
Information about student visa and accommodation registration for overseas students
近期，各位留学生通过学院或自行办理在华居留签证手续情况较多，许多学生并未在国际教育学院楼前台登记并更新护照、签证和住宿等信息，现特此通知：
During the visa extension period it has been noticed that many students have not registered their accommodation information and/or haven’t updated their passport information at the front desk of the IEC. The offices of the IEC would hereby like to notify all students of the following:
1、各位留学生若需离校、回国，请提前在前台修改住宿情况，并在来华返校后将“离校”状态修改为“在校”状态；
1、Upon leaving school to travel or to go home, students are required to register as “away from the university” at the front desk. Upon their return to the university, they are required to register again as “at university”, also at the front desk.
2、学生办理在华居留签证和更换护照时必须亲自到前台登记并更新住宿，认真核对系统信息，如发现异常，请与老师或工作人员联系确认；
2、Before applying for the residence visa (extending the student visa), students should go to the front desk in person to update their visa information. Students should also go to the front desk after getting a new passport to update their passport information.
3、如有自行办理签证的同学，在去出入境管理局之前也必须亲自到前台核对住宿信息，以免耽误签证办理时间，为自己带来不必要的麻烦。
3、Students, who go to the Exit-Entry Administration office to extend their visa by themselves, should personally check that their accommodation information is up to date at the front desk to avoid delays in visa processing time and other unnecessary problems.
